Choosing Forest Fringe Farm
Where is Forest Fringe Farm located?
Forest Fringe Farm is located on 8 acres in Bethel, New York.
What kind of programs is Forest Fringe Farm best suited for?
Forest Fringe Farm is designed for hosted retreats, off-sites, development labs and multi-day programs led by artists and cultural organizations.
Is the site private during our booking?
Yes. When you book Forest Fringe Farm for a program or retreat, the site is reserved exclusively for your group for the duration of your booking.
What amenities are available?

Is the farm accessible year-round?
Hosted programs are seasonal. Availability typically runs late spring through early fall, depending on conditions and land care.
Camping & Lodging
Overnight stays are possible through coordinated camping and must be arranged in advance as part of your booking. Camping is not automatic and requires additional planning.
Is lodging provided?
Forest Fringe Farm does not provide lodging. Some groups camp on site; others arrange off-site accommodations nearby.
Is camping the same as Hipcamp bookings?
No. Camping for hosted programs is coordinated separately and is not part of public Hipcamp availability.
Blueberries & Public Offerings
Yes. The land includes cultivated areas and seasonal agricultural activity, including blueberries.
Will blueberry picking or public farm activity overlap with our booking?
No. Public offerings such as blueberry picking operate separately from hosted bookings and do not overlap with private site use.
Can our group participate in farm activities?
In some cases, optional engagement with the land can be discussed during planning, depending on timing and scope.
Logistics & Booking
All bookings begin with an inquiry. Once alignment is confirmed, we share a proposal outlining scope, pricing, contract terms and deposit requirements.
Is a deposit required?
Yes. A deposit is required to confirm your booking and hold dates. Bookings are not considered confirmed until the deposit is received.
How far in advance should we inquire?
We recommend inquiring as early as possible, especially for weekend or multi-day programs. Bookings are limited each season.
What is not permitted on site?
Forest Fringe Farm is not suitable for large public festivals, weddings, unsupervised rentals or high-impact activities. All use is guided by stewardship and care for the land.
